POSITION SUMMARY

 

DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES, Tarboro, NC. 117 bed acute-care facility seeks a full-time Director of Facilities.   This position has direct responsibility for managing, coordinating and evaluating programs/activities necessary to maintain, repair and improve the buildings, grounds, and equipment associated with the hospital. The successful candidate will be a team and relationship builder with staff and colleagues alike and incorporate a communication style that translates technical initiatives into understandable, collaborative strategies to all stakeholders. Applicants should possess an Associates Degree in Engineering or a discipline closely related to facilities management or equivalent experience.  CHFM certification is highly desirable.
